1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb lean ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp salt
Dash pepper
2 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 cup grated cheese
Mix thoroughly in medium bowl: 1/2 can soup, beef, egg, breadcrumbs and seasonings. Press firmly in a 9 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Drain off any fat. Mix remaining soup with already mashed potatoes. Frost meat pie, sprinkle grated cheese on top. Return to oven for 5 - 10 minutes.
