cup butter, softened

1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar (I used light)
1/2
cup sugar
2
large eggs
1
tsp. vanilla extract
2
cups all-purpose flour
1
tsp. baking soda
1/2
tsp. salt
2
1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1
cup toffee bits
1
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Beat
butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Combine
flour, soda, salt. Add to butter. Beat until combined. Stir in oats, toffee
bits and chocolate chips.
Drop
by tablespoons and bake on parchment lined baking sheets in a 350 degree oven
for 8 - 10 minutes.
Cool
on pan for 2 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to complete cooling.

were having family night. I just left them on the pan to cool.

*Recipe
comes from Paula Deen. She calls for 1 cup of chocolate chunks. I used chips
and added an extra 1/2 cup, because more chocolate = more better!!
