Bruschetta
- tomatoes peeled, seeded, chopped, and drained in sieve for 20-30 minutes
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 10-12 fresh basil leaves, shredded
- capers, if desired
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Brush slices of crusty Italian bread with olive oil and toast under broiler on both sides. Spoon bruschetta over the top.
